Numerous hidden bays and
beaches offer various possibilities for one day excursions
by boat to the adjacent islets, such as the islets of Misnjak and Karantunic,
but also to the other islands of the Zadar archipelago: Iz, Sestrunj,
Rivanj, Dugi otok, Silba, Molat and many others.
Why don't you join us on the panoramic, fishing or scuba diving excursions?
The best way to discover the beauty of unique Zadar archipelago is to start
a journey with an excursionist sailboat. T he picturesque port of Kukljica
is a good starting point and a true challenge for divers and sport fishermen.
Nature park «Telascica» and National
park "Kornati islands": f
or further information about the organized excursions
please contact Tourism Board Kukljica and the reception
desk of the tourist village «Zelena punta» or simply
choose one of the excursionist boats in the port of Kukljica
.
Special excursion programmes could be organized
for the island visitors, which is the best way to
get know the rich tradition of the islands of Ugljan
and Pasman and the beauty of well-preserved
nature. Meet the local islanders and their way of
life, find out something about the original island
cuisine. Taste our healthy homemade food, fresh fish,
honey, wine and olive oil; enjoy the scent of aromatic
and medicinal herbs.
The geographic position of Kukljica, which is well
known as one of the main gateways to Kornati Islands
, offers also various possibilities for the excursions
on the shore and in the hinterland. In the circle of 100-150 kilometres there
are not only beautiful islands, but also several very old and interesting towns,
even national and nature parks. The cities of Zadar and Biograd are
the closest: you can reach them by frequent ferry lines. In less than an hour
you can reach two nature parks "Vrana
lake" and «Velebit» , as well three
national parks : "Paklenica", "Krka
falls" and "Plitvice
lakes".
