Kukljica is a picturesque tourist and fishing village on the island of Ugljan near Zadar and the island of Pasman, well connected to the mainland by car ferry. Beautiful landscapes with thick pine forests, lovely beaches, crystal clear sea and the mild mediterranean climate offer numerous possibilities for a perfect relaxing holiday. With a small marina, situated in a picturesque bay, Kukljica is a modern tourist resort offering excellent accommodation in well-designed rooms and suites in private houses and in tourist village "Zelena punta", most of which are located by the sea.

Kukljica can be called the "gateway to the Telašćica Nature Park and the National Park Kornati Islands" since it is located at the island's extreme southwestern point, close to the Zdrelac straits. For generations it has been tied to the sea, navigation and fishing and in recent times it has become a beloved tourist destination, especially for navigators and excursionists, but also for families with children, younger and older guests as well.

Lady of the Snow Bena's yard

In the old village nucleus genuine examples of local, popular architecture can still be seen and it is a special pleasure to walk down the quay and throw a glance at the small port always filled with fishing boats and sailboats. Attractive sandy beaches shaded by centuries-old pinewoods, Sabuša, Kostanj and Jelenica, can be found on both sides of the island.
In the haven Kostanj there is a valuable historical monument, the renewed old church of St. Jerome from the 13th century.

The genuine attraction of Kukljica is the traditional procession by boat on the Feast of Our Lady of the Snow (5th of August), when the statue of Our Lady of the Snow is taken from the votive church of Our Lady of the Snow in the Zdrelascica bay to the parish church of St. Paul dating from the 17th century.

We are inviting you to visit Kukljica and feel the experience of well preserved nature. For all those who need to escape everyday stress and gain some inner peace of mind there is no better place than Kukljica. The beauty of unique island world will keep you coming back .
